Claret Academy Enugu Holds Social Day
by

As part of the holistic grooming of students, Claret Academy (Secondary School) Garikki Enugu organised their Social Day on 5 February, 2021.  Aware of  the crisis of the global pandemic, the school made it  an internally organized event without publicity so as to reduce the crowd that may be present for the activities.

All clubs (Press club, Jet club, Drama club, Music club, Art club) had presentations ranging from seminar talks on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, to Art competition where students competed in drawing the picture of St Anthony Mary Claret within 30 mins.

The highpoint was the Master and Miss Claret 2020/2021 competition. The Green House won for this year. The school manager Fr. Matthew Mmuo, cmf was immensely grateful to the Provincial Superior Fr Simeon Nwobi, cmf, and his Council, the community superior of Garikki/Amurri Community Fr. Dr. Cletus Obasi, cmf, the priests in the community, the staff and parents for always giving them the necessary support and push to produce future champions in the church and society.

It would be recalled that just few days ago (3 February, 2021) the Federal Government of Nigeria approved the Claretian University of Nigeria. The track record of  the Claretians in the Education Ministry is unparalleled having produced men and women of character in the society at large.
