Held in Owerri, the Seat of the Province, it was specially moderated and animated by members of the Provincial Council and the different prefectures took turns to present the Action Plan of the Province as developed from the VIII Provincial Chapter Document.
Explaining Constitutions 102 to 110 of the Congregation, emphasis were laid on the vocation which superiors receive to animate with love, patience and the spirit of dialogue. The vocation of leaders in this capacity is also an invitation to work in communion with the mind of the local community, the major organism, the universal congregation and the universal church at large.
At the workshop the participants had the time to discuss in groups and expressively proffered ways that will enhance living out the pure and authentic call to be Rooted and Audacious in Mission as a Province (The goal of the Chapter). They appreciated the experience in delightful ways and expressed their eagerness to have such animated encounters often. They also were presented with the dream of the province in frames symbolic of a collective sharing and unified acceptance to put all necessary arsenals to realize the dream. The event came to a close with a shared meal.
